Private, sign-in-only and protected media cannot be downloaded here. Instagram and Threads are excluded because downloads are intermittent. Reddit, TikTok and YouTube are not offered after the current public download checks failed. Individual links on the listed sites can also fail.
Public web downloads have no lifetime count cap; request-rate, concurrency and file-size limits still apply. This form accepts only the sites listed above. Use the homepage URL downloader for other single-video pages; availability varies.
The extension has its own free allowance of 200 saves a day. Signed-in Cloud requires an active ExtensionPay trial or paid access for cloud saves and has separate account access.
To download one 4chan image, GIF or video on the web, paste its direct i.4cdn.org media URL into the free form and save the file to this device. Use the browser extension for supported whole-thread collections and storage destinations. A thread-page URL and a direct media-file URL are different inputs; source files must still be available when you save them.
Yes. The free web form downloads direct i.4cdn.org media files to this device. The browser extension handles supported thread collections and destination choices; cloud-storage saves have separate access requirements.
No. Tweet Media Archive saves files to the destination you choose. It does not host a public copy on the website.
4chan threads are temporary. Saving the image or video file gives you a durable copy in storage you control instead of relying on the thread URL later.
